Milk Parlor

The former carousel-style milk parlor has been transformed into a double-18 Boumatic parallel, rapid exit milking parlor. It houses two milk tanks, one holding 3,200 gallons and the other 4,100 gallons.

Capacity / Corrals

The Dairy is permitted for 1,100 mature milk cows. The facility features 1,831 freestall beds. Additionally, the dairy facility features DaSilveira stanchions. There are 2,074 locking stanchions designated for milk cows. For support stock, there are an extra 1,812 locking stanchions, comprising 1,484 for heifers and 328 for close-ups. There is a five bay standard size commodity barn, plus a 2 bay (double size) commodity barn on the facility. The dairy also boasts a +/-2,500 ton capacity hay barn and +/-20,000 ton silage pit.

It also features an on-site in-ground scale.

Property is located in the Pescadero Rec District No 2058 and is part of County of San Joaquin GSA Tracy.

The property boasts Riparian Water Rights, granting unrestricted access to water as needed.

Lagoons

The dairy facility has four lagoons which feature sequential manure removal (solids sink to the bottom of pond 1 with manure water flowing or pumped into pond 2, this process repeats for ponds 3 and 4).

The facility also features a screen-style manure separator.

The open farmland is currently planted to winter forage.

Cows

There are +/-2,000 milk and dry cows, plus heifers, available for purchase under a separate transaction. All cows have been bred to Select Sires and Semex genetics. Milk is being shipped to California Dairies, Inc. with +/-88 lbs. per cow, before fat corrected milk.

Groundwater Disclosure

Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) requires groundwater basins to be sustainable by 2040. SGMA requires a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) by 2020. Said plans may limit ground water pumping. For more information please visit the SGMA website.
