This East Texas sod farm consists of 1,092 total acres with approximately 420 acres planted in sod grass. The sod is irrigated by 3 water wells and 4 reservoirs. The Nacatoch Aquifer is located under the farm and provides sufficient water for the 3 wells. The 3 wells currently combine to produce approximately 1800 gallons per minute, but total output could be increased significantly with larger pumps if need be.
