Cotton has historically been grown on this farm, but it is very suitable for corn production. Almost 90% of the cultivated acreage is irrigated and 65% has been leveled. With ample water, there is one center pivot, five additional wells and one relift pump used to provide irrigation and drainage capability to the farm. Additional irrigation water is obtained by relift from Moore Bayou, which runs through the farm. Part of the non-cultivated portion of the farm includes the southern end of Whiting Lake, which is renown for its duck hunting.
