Iron Springs Ranch has what everybody wants....timber, year round creek, excellent hunting, and amazing views. The timber was cut a few years ago and still looks great. There are two old homes on the property which basically give you power and septic for new homes. I have personally seen hundreds of elk on this property. One border of the ranch is eight mile creek which has decent trout fishing and supports and excellent run of steelhead into the Middle Fork of the John Day River. The views consist of the Middle Fork and North Fork Drainage. There are old fields that could be easily put into operation again with alfalfa or grain crops. Elevation runs from 3600 feet to 4100 feet. There are some excellent springs on the property and amazing draws for hunting. This would be a great retreat or guaranteed hunting spot.
