A luxurious two story lodge stands in front of and overlooks the two lakes, which are stocked with bass, crappie, bream, and catfish. The lodge is close to 5600 square feet and was custom built in 2002. It has 6 bedrooms, 6 and one half bathrooms, a custom kitchen, a mud room, a private office, and a dining area that overlooks the lakes and the green fields. The lodge is constructed on a concrete slab and has cypress siding. The lodge also has a detached four car garage 40? by 40? feet in size complete with a storage room and underground cellar.
The wildlife that exists here is amazing. To rephrase, it is mind blowing. The owners have been practicing a strict management program for years for the deer and turkey. The entire property has been enrolled in the AR Game and Fish Commission?s Deer Management Assistance Program, or DMAP, for over 8 years. He receives 40 unrestricted doe tags per year to aid in herd management. There is also a healthy population of black bear on the property, and quite often they can be seen strolling around the ag fields and eating out of the corn troughs. Other hunting opportunities include duck, goose, teal, dove and other small game.
Last but not least, there have been some elk that have shown up on the property. Upon reporting the sightings, the AR Game and Fish inspected and confirmed the presence of the elk. This is the first documentation of elk in Washington County, AR. Video footage is available for skeptics!!!
