Buena Vista Valley is in Pershing County and lies between the Humboldt Mountain Range and the East Mountain Range. The ranch is accessible by county and private maintained roads, with 2 north and south ramps on I-80. Reno is just over 2 hours west of the ranch on I-80. Air service is available through Derby Field, Winnnemmucca Airport, or Reno/Cannon International Airport.

Description: This unique ranch is divided into four areas: Valley Area, Mountain Area, Mill City Area, and Burns Brothers & Dun Glen Area. Electric power and phone are available. The winter and summer grazing range is currently leased to the owner’s of the Coyote Creek Ranch for $30,000 per year. The lease term expires in 2011. A copy of the lease and terms shall be provided to a prospective buyer upon a successfully negotiated contract to purchase.
Water: Numerous springs, waterholes, and approximately 5 miles of underground pipe line distribute water to livestock, allowing them to thrive while roaming the range lands. The pipe line brings gravity flow water from a spring in the Dun Glen Flat to the Mill City area water troughs. The summer range, in the Spalding and Klondike Canyon areas, have several developed springs with watering troughs.
