Planted loblolly Pines of two ages cover nearly ±106 acres of the tract – ±38 acres planted in 2005 and ±68 acres planted in 2017. The older stand will be ready soon for first thinning. The younger stand was established with chemical site preparation and ArborGen Elite seedlings. These trees are free of competition and showing exceptional early growth.

The tract lies about one mile south of the Mountville Post Office on both sides of Hwy 72 with more than ±3,000 feet of frontage on the highway. A natural gas line and public water line run along Hwy 72.

Research Parcel InformationFrom Clinton SC, the intersection of Broad Street (Hwy 72/56) and Carolina Avenue (Hwy 76) with McDonald’s Restaurant on the southeast corner of the intersection, proceed south on South Broad Street. In about half a mile you will pass Presbyterian College, then bear right to stay on South Broad Street (Hwy 72). Proceed south out of town on Hwy 72. After about 8.5 miles you will pass Mountville Road on the right. Proceed south for about 1 more mile to Road S-30-984 (Old Hwy 72). The property begins here on both sides of Hwy 72.
