Hale Lake Ranch

The Hale Lake Forest permit is located in Lincoln County bordering Ruidoso Downs, NM. This allotment has just had extensive fence work and work done to the water infrastructure. Many of the pipelines have been replaced along with some of the drinkers. This Allotment has excellent hunting opportunities supporting Elk, Mule Deer, Turkey, along with other wild life. There is a well maintained forest road going through the east side of the ranch and the west side is protected by a locked gate going through a small deeded inholding on the ranch.

The allotment consists of approximately 95 acres deeded and 16,000 forest lease and is permitted for 273 cattle year round.

Topography on the Hale Lake Allotment ranges from 6500 ft. to around 8000 ft., lower scattered cedar and juniper country to tall pines with many high country meadows.
