Driving onto the property, the amount of pheasants that were taking flight was absolutely astounding. Bailing out of the cattails, short grass by the hundreds, and 3 coveys of grouse numbering close to 60 birds. While driving the property it seemed we were playing hide and seek with the whitetail in the cattails. As soon as we stopped, they would leap up and move to another part of the property.
This property holds two stocked dams to keep the wildlife with water, along with cattails for shelter and bedding. There are 40+ acres of tillable ground that allows the owner to plant tree belts and food plots to further the bedding and food for the pheasant, grouse, and whitetail that are in abundance in the area.
Located in the state's best area of pheasant hunting, plus the opportunity for South Dakota landowner tags, this property is a great addition to any hunting portfolio.
