The Stateline Tract (Listing# 1221) is +/-162.24 acres located on the Arkansas-Louisiana state line and the Frank LaPere Tract (Listing# 1220) is +/-40.09 acres located on Oklona Road about a mile north of the Stateline Tract. The properties are being sold individually on the basis of lump sum sealed bids on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 3:00 P.M.
The Stateline Tract is +/-162.24 acres generally described as All of the Fractional Section 2, Township 20 South, Range 12 West and Part of the S of Section 35, Township 19 South, Range 12 West, lying south of the north boundary of a power line right-of-way, Union County, Arkansas. The timber stands on the property consist of maturing pine plantations and hardwood sawtimber and pulpwood. The property has +/-14 acres of 1990 Pine Plantation that is primarily pine sawtimber and +/-25.5 acres of 1994 Pine Plantation that has been first thinned and now has a fine stand of growing chip-n-saw and pulpwood. The +/-108 acre hardwood area consists of red oak, sweetgum, beech and other miscellaneous hardwood sawtimber and hardwood pulpwood. About 13.6 acres lies in a power line right-of-way that offers great visibility for hunting and area for food plots. A gated gravel road splits the property offering good access to the buyer.
The topography is generally flat across the hardwood areas and gently rolling along the north end of the property. The soils consist of Guyton silt loam and Warnock and Smithton fine sandy loam soils. The South Fork of Frank LaPere Creek flows through the property offering year round water for wildlife.

The property is accessed from the south, in Louisiana, off of Stateline Road. From Strong, Arkansas, travel south on Highway 275/Highway 129 for 1.2 miles, then turn right (south) onto Highway 275 and continue south for about 6 miles to Stateline Road located on the state line. Turn left (East) onto Stateline and continue east about 1.9 miles to a gated gravel road on the left. Turn left and enter the gate with Combination 8-5-6-7. Travel about 1/10 mile to the southern boundary of the tract, marked with a Kingwood Land For Sale sign and pink flagging.
