Patent Creek runs along the western edge of the property and flows northward about a mile and empties into Lake Superior. There are beautiful sandy beaches for strolling, wading, and rock hounding, along this stretch of Lake Superior which can be accessed through State of Michigan Lands. Silver City, about 2-3 miles away, is where the Big Iron River also flows into Lake Superior, and is a historic fish stocking site, and a great place to launch your boats. A Multi-Use State Trail for snowmobiling, ATVing, and Horseback Riding runs along M-64 south of Silver City. Further to the west of this parcel is the 58,335-Acre Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State park which has dense forests, wild rivers, and 1,900-Foot peaks for hiking, camping, alpine and nordic skiing.
