Directions

1. Reno, NV Destination

Start on I80 East from Reno.

Continue past Fernley and Lovelock toward Winnemucca.

Near Elko, take Elko/North exit (Highway 227).

Head north on NV227, then turn onto local roads leading toward the final GPS point.

Transition onto gravel or BLM-access roads for the last few miles into the desert.

2. Salt Lake City, UT Destination

Head west on I80 from Salt Lake City.

Drive through Tooele and Wendover, into Nevada.

Pass Fernley and proceed to Winnemucca on I80.

Near Elko, exit toward NV227 North.

Follow smaller county or BLM roads to reach the exact coordinates in the high desert.

3. Boise, ID Destination

Go south on I84 from Boise into southern Idaho.

Take I15 South near Twin Falls down into Nevada.

In northern Nevada, merge onto US93 South toward Wells.

Near Wells, exit onto NV227 heading west/northwest toward Elko.

After Elko, pick up local roads heading northwest to the GPS location.

4. Portland, OR Destination

Leave Portland via I84 East through eastern Oregon.

Continue across the Snake River into Idaho and past Boise.

Join I15 South in southern Idaho into Nevada.

Merge onto US93 South, turning onto NV227 near Wells/Elko.

Use local desert routes west/northwest of Elko to reach the point.

5. Los Angeles, CA Destination

Travel northbound on I5, then take I15 North near San Bernardino.

Continue on I15 through Las Vegas and into southern Nevada.

At Wells, take US93 North to Elko, then switch to NV227 North.

After Elko, follow county or BLM-access roads toward the coordinates.
