The remaining 15% of the property, approximately 363 acres, consists of native grasses and pasture land that is utilized for cattle grazing.
Improvements:
Other than the extensive pond system there is a large pumping station at the North end of the property that at one time was set up with 6 massive pumps to pull water from the Arroyo Colorado and distribute to the ponds. Most of the power units have been removed and some repairs would be needed to make the sytems operational again. There is also a smaller shed with 2 more pumps. There are 2 metal warehouses on the property, an 8,000 sqare foot building on northeast corner and a 5,000 square foot building on the south portion of the tract. This farm has so much potential whether being utilized as a shrimp farm, great location for a wind generated operation, amazing waterfowl sanctuary, or even development of an area that is known for great fishing.
