The Duck Hole Slough is located adjacent to the famous 7,800 acre wildlife management area "Red Slough" and just one mile north of the Red River. The property is enrolled in the Wetland Reserve Program and all of the work has been done. The area wildlife biologist will work and consult with you free of charge on how to drain your own levees during the proper time of year in order to install wildlife food plots that attract massive flocks of ducks and crops that will help to grow trophy bucks. 42,000 White Oak, Willow Oak and Shumard Oak seedlings were planted in 2006. There are 5 acres left out of the WRP program for you to have a cabin or travel trailer for the family.
