The main house is a passive solar, soft contemporary design constructed in 2006 from lime stabilized adobe, with a standing seam metal roof and Marvin windows. The interior has lime plaster and KEIM mineral paint walls with exposed solid wood beams, Douglas Fir vigas, wood latillas spanning the living room with 1x4 wood ceilings in the main hall, dinning room and kitchen, and stained concrete floors. The main house is heated with a Rumford fireplace and a Rockport wood stove. The hacienda's 1,996 square feet hold a suite with adjacent library, a walk-in closet with a washer/dryer, large dining area, full size kitchen with bar top, walk-in pantry, living room with Rumford fireplace and spacious entry hall is lined with high clerestory windows and includes a centrally located Rockport wood burning stove. The second bedroom in the main house has a separate full bath and a private patio.

The two flanking standalone casitas were completed in 2021, built with cement stabilized adobe block. The West Casita has a spacious bedroom, walk-in closet, two full baths, a stacked washer dryer closet, kitchenette with a two burner cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, a living room/5th bedroom with Pella sliding glass metal clad wood doors opening onto a patio with a view to the town of Marfa approximately 3 miles to the west. The East Casita has a large bedroom with Pella sliding glass doors onto a patio with a view of Haystack Mountain and a full bath. Both casitas have conventional electric heating and cooling.

The property is comprised of 3 individually platted Antelope Hills Subdivision 5 acre tracts on the north west side of the neighborhood closest to the City of Marfa. Short term rentals are allowed by the succinct subdivision covenants.
