The Hydrick Tract is approximately 223 acres located on the edge of the four-hole swamp between Providence and Bowman. It will be hard to find a better deer hunting tract in South Carolina than this one. This area is known for growing big deer and is loaded with turkeys. You could have a dove field, and it has a few gum ponds for a summer duck shoot. It is very easy to get to from just about any part of eastern South Carolina. It has a good mixture of fields and forested land with some timber that is ready to be cut. It has two irrigation ponds that could be expanded for fish ponds, and a power line right-of-way that are great for food plots. If you are looking for a good hunting tract this is it. This tract is in the path of progress and is under an hour from both downtown Charleston and Columbia.
