When you turn into this beautiful property you are high up on a ridge looking across the Walnut Creek Valley. There is about 1/3 of this property that is native upland with thick timber cosisting of Spanish Oak, Live Oak, Sumac, Red Bud, Shinnery oak, a few Mesquite and a variety of native short brush species,(very little cedar). The other 2/3 of the property is bottom land along Walnut Creek. A high steep ridge separates the upland from the creek bottom. There are several old fallow fields along bothsides of the creek that have grown up in brush, creating a wildlife heaven. These fields have been selectively cleared and planted as food plots.

Walnut Creek is a beautiful rocky creek that flows most of the time and has pockets of water year around. The banks of the creek are lined with huge Black Walnut and Pecan trees with short brush growing under them. Parts of the creek banks have been cleared of brush to create a park-like setting, the rest have been left wild. There are two low water crossing to allow easy travel on both sides of the creek.

The exterior fences are 6 strand barbed wire that are in excellent condition. The fence lines have been cleared with a dozer to allow travel around the perimeter of the property. There are some old interior field fences that need to be removed or rebuilt.

There is an old homesite on the property with phone, electricity, shallow well. The old house is still there, but will be torn down. There are two old wooden barns that are in fairly good condition and add some character to the property.

There are several draws that come through the property that offer several small lake sites with plenty of drainage. There is an old pond on the property that has been cleaned out. According to one of the neighbors this was a great fishing and swimming hole many years ago, but it has not had any water in it since the current owner bought the property.

This is a very diverse ranch that has great wildlife habitat for the hunter or wildlife enthusiast. The varied terrain offers great horse back or ATV adventure riding. The rich bottom land will grow anything one would want and could be planted in Coastal Bermuda or other grass to create a very producitve livestock opperation.
