The ranch is located in Uvalde and Edwards counties Thirty miles North of Uvalde of State Highway 55, at Arnolds Crossing on the Nueces River below Nueces Lake. Over 7700 feet of lake and river front form the Eastern boundry of the Ranch. The rest of the ranch is perimeter fenced of which over three miles of the Northern boundry are high fenced. The terrain varies from cliffs overlooking Nueces Lake, to river bottom with large Pecan and Oak trees, to Mesquite flats, to Oak Mott praire, to scenic hills and canyons with several springs. There are 10 water wells of which 7 are in use (3 submersable and 4 windmills) and six stock tanks. The ranch is divided into 5 major pastures, 7 traps, and three fields. Improvements consist of the orginal frame ranch house, 2 hunters cabins, a large barn with working pens and stalls, large equipment shed, and resort area. The resort area is above the dam of Nueces Lake. There has been over $800,000 spent on improvements to the area that includes water system, septic systems,underground electrical system, pavillion, 4 almost complete 1200 sq. ft., 3/2 straw bale lodges, two 1200 sq. ft. and one 2400 sq. ft. slab and frames, and nine 560 sq. ft.
