One of the improvements to the ranch include electricity that has been brought from the highway down the private road into the southwest corner of the ranch. There is also a water well located in the southwest corner. The water well could be utilized to distribute water around the property which could enhance the quality of wildlife on the ranch. The ranch has also had some brush clearing done in the past to open up some areas and create motte-like brush patterns for the wildlife. There is also an old tank located in the south central area of the ranch, which with a little work could be built into a major watering hole for wildlife in the area. The property is completely low-fenced and has large neighboring ranches.
Wildlife:
The wildlife that is common to this area is White-Tailed Deer, Feral Hogs, Javelina as well as a mixture of Blue Quail and Bobwhite Quail. For years Dimmit County has been a consistent producer of trophy White-Tailed Deer and many record book deer have been taken in the county.
Water:
There is a functioning water well close to the private road gate that provides water to the ranch. This water well could provide endless opportunities for filling ponds as well as for domestic use.
Electricity:
Electricity has been brought from Highway 277 down the private road to the Southwest corner of the ranch. The private road runs down the west side of the ranch and dead ends just past the gate.
Habitat:
The habitat on the ranch is ideal South Texas vegetation and terrain. The vegetation is made up on exactly what White-Tailed Deer thrive on.
