Tax records indicate approximately 320+/- acres in Lincoln County about 5 miles east of Star City, between Gould and Star City along State Hwy 11/114 near Crigler. This property was not farmed in 2009, but is under "new" lease agreement for 2010. There are (2) tracts that are not contiguous, but only 1/8 mile apart. The larger tract has (2) 8" wells with some underground pipeline to risers. The smaller tract uses a re-lift from a bayou. Tax records and FSA agency numbers do not match exactly. The 2009 FSA records indicate crop acres = 330.38 with total base acres = 329.8 including 174.8 rice base acres. Soybeans and wheat account for the remainder.
