This half-section with a small feedyard is located from Hereford, Texas approximately 3 miles southwest on US Highway 60 and one mile west on paved County Road 4.
The feedyard is permitted and consist of eighteen (18) pens with pipe and cable fences, approximately 2,030 of concrete bunk with eight (8) ft. concrete aprons. The pens are approximately 175 deep with flow-through watering units in each pen. The yard has good working facilities (covered working area with hydraulic chute), hospital pens, horse pens and a barn with an office.

Other assets include a buried 1,000 gallon water storage tank for the feedyard, a 30,000 Lb electronic cattle scale, supplement bin, liquid feed tank, two sets of concrete feed bunks that are 100 ft +/- each for feeding cattle outside of the feedyard and a domestic well equipped with a submersible electric motor, pump and control panel that supplies the yard. The yard is in an excellent location on pavement and is in close proximity to local services and accessible feed.
The farmland consists of one full circle and a circle around the feedyard. One towable 1994 Zimmatic sprinkler is moved back and forth to irrigate the two circles. The sprinkler is nozzled at 275 to 300 GPM and is supplied by 5 wells. The wells and two pivot points are connected by pipeline and are also connected to the feedyard to supply the cattle with water in the event that the feedyard well goes down.
Permanent 5 strand, barbed wire fencing is around the perimeter of the farm with the middle strand of the fence being on insulators for a hot wire.
A cattle watering tank is located on the west boundary of the property, a second tank is located between the two circles and a third tank is located at the pivot point of the east circle. These tanks are supplied by the feedyard water system using a pipeline that is separate from the irrigation pipeline.
