Single and two-family dwelling units, homesteading, farms, and ranches are allowed by right, while commercial and industrial uses require a special permit.

Prohibited uses include more than one principal structure or use on a lot except compatible uses, commercial sale of used motor vehicles, junk yards, mobile home parks, camper parks, drive-in motion picture theaters, commercial sewage disposal or treatment plants, collection, treatment, storage, burial, incineration, or disposal of radioactive waste, commercial wood preserving and furniture dip-stripping operations, and more than two (2) dwelling units in a principal structure.

Mobile homes are only permitted for 14 days per calendar year, or while constructing the primary structure on the lot.
