Here’s a great little tract that is almost completely surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest. It’s just minutes from Interstate 75, but has the feel of being way out and private. You walk back into the tract on an old road through the forest on the west side and hit a good trail traveling east and northeast through the tract. You will likely see the big beaver hut in the bottom and have a really good chance to see deer or turkeys as well on the way in. On the way up you will see a few small openings that would make great spots for food plots or to ambush turkeys. This tract also has nice locations to build your own primitive cabin on. If you’re looking for a place with plenty of privacy that joins national forest and has good hunting, take a look at this one.
