Description: This live water, hunting and working cattle ranch is high fenced boasting approximately two and miles of both sides of the live San Miguel Creek. Wildlife: Native wildlife on the property includes whitetail deer, hogs, dove, quail, turkey and a small herd of axis. The property has been managed to improve quail and deer habitat; improvements include development of water resources (ponds), strip-clearing of brush and pasture improvements which allows for uncomplicated quail dog working. Whitetail herd has been managed by selective harvesting and supplemental feeding. Annually there are bucks harvested in the 160 to 180 B&C range; there have been bucks harvested over 200 B&C in years past. All deer are of native genetics, there have been no releases of improved genetics. All lakes have been stocked with catfish and/or bass for a number of years and are managed to produce trophy fish. The bottom lands of the San Miguel Creek provide excellent wildlife habitat.
Water: Water on the ranch is very plentiful. There are underground water lines running to all areas of the ranch from the wells providing water to all troughs, some of the lakes, ponds, food plots and the pivot irrigation system. Two & one half miles of both sides of the live San Miguel Creek, there are 2 concrete bridges over dams which back up the creek forming nice reservoirs.
