The Pine Ridge Ranch is located in Goshen County, Wyoming, just a few short miles north of the historic Town and old Fort Laramie. A few years ago this large Ranch land holding (sometimes known as the Rolling Hills Ranch) decided to develop this Pine Hills area north of Ft. Laramie into small "Ranchette" type land tracts. An access road was constructed into the area, graveled, and some utility corridors developed. The topography as a whole that makes up the Pine Ridge Ranch is a mix of rolling native grasslands studded with Ponderosa Pine hillsides and outcrops. Most of the Ranchette acreages have not yet been developed, but a few do have seasonal type cabins on them or year round residences with other improvements. The subject 40 acre property is situated approximately 4 miles into the "Pine Hills Ranch" community from the main entry gate off of Kaspiere County Road, which is approximately 6 miles northeast of Ft. Laramie. Like many of the Pine Ridge Ranch land tracts, the subject property is unfenced and is presently being utilized as grazing land for livestock. Although the subject land tract does not appear to have any trees on it, it is in a somewhat nice setting with Pine studded hills along the south edge of the property.
