WATER: There is 1 Carrizo water well on the property that supplies water to the headquarters and the stock tank. The stock tank is about 1 acre in size and can be kept full continuously. There is one other small pond and there are several drainages that traverse the property. Two old oil wells have been plugged; these are 2 sites for additional Carrizo water wells. Another advantage to the ranch is the availability of treated affluent water that the quality for human consumption. This water currently keeps the creek drainage full the majority of the time.

VEGETTION: This ranch has a good amount of quail and deer habitat. The land is fairly open with some good brush diversity. The deer have ample browse, and the quail can be hunted with ease as 85 acres was cleared for food plots. Brush species include black brush, white brush, guayacon, guajillo, persimmon, etc. Ranch consists of Buffel grass primarily. Large trees surround the home.

WILDLIFE The ranch has been managed for several years with all native genetics. Owners harvested a 175 pt. buck several years ago. With good water, brush and feed, there is an abundance of game on the ranch. Wildlife includes whitetail deer, turkey, quail, dove, hogs, javelina and others.
