History. This unique ranch is located in a part of Texas steeped in history. The property is part of the Frank Harrell ranch which was homesteaded in the late 1800s. It is also at the site of the last train robbery attempted by Ben Kilpatrick, who was known to ride with Butch Cassidy, Kid Curry and the Sundance Kid, and who was killed in the attempt. The story of this incident is preserved in a Texas historical marker located right across the highway from this property.
