WAYNESBORO, TENNESSEE, the seat of Wayne County, located in an enchanting region of south central Tennessee, bordering the Alabama line. A favored hunting ground in its earlier days, Wayne County is the second largest county in land area and with the least population per square mile in Tennessee.
