Wildlife: Frontier Ranch has a Texas Parks and Wildlife Level 3 MLD permit, and over 400 whitetail deer in breeding pens with some of the best genetics in the business. The whitetail deer have been intensely managed, as well as releases of deer out of the pens onto the ranch for the past five (5) years. Over fifteen (15) bucks per year are harvested which score 170+ B&C. In addition to the whitetail deer the ranch has dove, quail, and huge flocks of turkey that can be found throughout the ranch. Frontier is also an angler and duck hunters dream with miles of live creek and 16 lakes to catch big large-mouth bass and 30 lb. catfish!
Water: Water is abundant on the Frontier Ranchincluding: * 1.5 miles of year-round, spring-fed Las Moras Creek with 110 acre-feet of irrigation water rights which is able to fill five of the lakes by diverting water out of the Las Moras Creek.
