Handbuilt pine cabins in the kitchen with stone countertops (bathroom as well) , and Herbeau French country fixtures including a copper sink. The house has all new copper and pvc pipes and the design is reminiscent of the cutty of a sailboat, with a wonderful hatch to the basement and a ladder to the loft.The bathroom has a claw foot tub, hand crafted medicine cabinet and brass fixtures. Heating is done either by the cost efficient Renaii heater or the imported Finnish Tuli Kivi soapstone stove which provides radiant heat and is also a cooking stove. The architectural detail of arched doorways, stone inlays and the beautiful floors make this a peaceful at one with nature retreat, but that is just the house!

The land has 2100 ‘ of road frontage and is level and rolling, it is certified organic and has been used to grow organic vegetables ! Bring your livestock, pallet or your spade. The second building, a timberframe structure was built to house an organic winery/bakery. Again architectural detail and craftsmanship can be seen in massive beams, arched wooden pieces and design. A commercial grease trap was installed and the basement is a full size walk out with a cement foundation. (Variance had been obtained from the town to run a bakery from the second building.)
