Heres a good hunting tract that is just getting better each year. This property will offer deer and hog hunting with some wood duck shoots in the brake and along the creek. This bottomland tract was clear cut in 2007-08 and is now in hardwood and pine regenerated growth. It was put in the WRP program in 2012.

Most of the east boundary is along Castor Creek. Approximately 30 acres lies on the east side of the creek (shown in yellow on the map.) There are some ridges along the west side where pine is regenerating. A main road runs most of the way through the center of the tract and there are numerous other trails for access and placement of deer stands.

There is a 7 acre field in front of the camp site that is not in the program so it can be managed any way you choose. It has been cleared and will make a good dove field.
