The Zeimet Ranch consists of 560± deeded acres and a 3,200 acre Forest Service pernit, which is shared with a neighboring ranch and may or may not transfer. The Zeimet Ranch is located approximately five miles south of Pringle and is accessed via South Dakota Highway 89 from Songdog and Bluegrass County Roads, both of which are graveled and maintained for all-weather use. The ranch encompasses areas heavily forested with pine, cedar, and juniper trees and rolling hills with many open meadows. These large open meadows of dry land native grass are cut each year for a hay crop. This diverse terrain is home to numerous species of wildlife, including resident elk, mule deer, upland game birds, turkey, bobcat, and an occasional mountain lion.
