This Horse/Cattle Ranch has a very inviting, alley-like setting with tall Pine Trees at the entrance drive way, 4 ponds, level terrain and improved grasses. The Owners have 10 horses and still produce an abundance of hay! Nearby the house is also a Davis Thermo Steel Building with a wooden front porch to enjoy your coffee or supper on in a peaceful surrounding! This Building is converted to living quarters, equipped with water heater, sink, shower, window air, space wall heater and vinyl floor covering. Its like an apartment and was used for their elder Mom. I got a 17 year old daughter who would just love to have a building like that for her! Nearby this location is also a catch pen for steers. This Ranch is certainly set up to have both! Nearby this location are now 6 holding pens constructed with heavy pipe and a cover in the working area. These pens are well designed w/ several swing gates to each pen; ideal for those days you do not have enough man power. Adjoining to the pens is an alley drive w/cattle chute. Nearest Super Wal-Mart is in Poteau or McAlester, Ok. It takes me 35 min. to drive to this Ranch from McAlester, not far at all! No dirt roads to drive just Highway and Black Top.
