Located in the Anaconda Pintler Mountains, 3 larger parcels make up the property and are surrounded by the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest. The weather is pretty typical for the mountains of Montana. This is a summer and fall range for wildlife, though moose and a few elk remain year round. Snowfall is relatively high, and can exceed 100 or more inches in a year. Winter highs average in the mid 20's and lows may occasionally fall below zero. Summer has averages in the mid 70's with extremes in the 90's dropping at night to ideal sleeping temperatures in the low 50's. The location at Georgetown Lake with its blue ribbon fishing, abundance of wildlife, and proximity to Discovery Ski Mountain, as well as Old Works Golf Course, Snowmobile Trails and more, create excellent potential for an upscale Bed & Breakfast, a hunting and fishing lodge or a dude ranch.
