Saint Marks Tract - Compartment A is a total of 65 +/- acres and a portion of the 342 +/- acre Saint Marks Tract. Compartment A is on the west side of the Old Farm road in the Saint Marks Community just yards from the Williamsburg/Florence County line, about half way between Lake City and Hemingway. It is situated just 28 miles from Florence, 32 miles from Georgetown and 41 miles from South Carolina's Grand Strand. The property is easily accessed from a county maintained dirt road and has a great interior road system. The properties soils are superb for growing trees and the place is loaded with deer and turkey. There are food plots, and plenty of good places for deer stands. The tract also has a large ditch system that has been working very well in these wet times. The trees where cut in 2020, but there are still some nice oak trees still standing throughout the tract that add to it's beauty. This part of the state has heavy, productive soils, providing a good mix of farm land and forested land that deer's, turkeys and other wildlife thrive in. It is close enough to the coast without the coastal prices and population. There is also future potential for adding more acres from some surrounding smaller tracts if wanted.
