The farm contains a total of 67 acres located in Section 8 & 9, Township 4N, Range 15E. The primary source of income began in 1986 with the fish hatchery business which produced catfish, large-mouth bass, sunfish, and white amur for local farm pond stocking. In the early 1990s the farm changed to ornamental fish production. Several varieties of Koi and goldfish were grown and marketed nationwide under the name of Prices Fish Farm, Inc. Operations were ceased in 2007. Fish hatchery income was supplemented with livestock and timber production.
Camp Creek, a year round water supply, runs approximately 3/8 mile through the property from west to east. South of the creek is approximately 20 acres of timberland of which about 15 acres was planted in 1990 with Loblolly pine. The remainder is hardwood bottom land including another smaller creek.

The remainder is comprised of 20 acres of pasture and 20 acres of ponds. The entire perimeter is fenced with net wire fence and there is some cross fencing.
The house is about 1700 square feet on the main floor and there is a full block unfinished basement under it. The upper level is wood framed with vinyl siding and a new shingle roof. There are 3 bedrooms, a large kitchen, an open living room/dining room, 2 full bathrooms, a screened porch, a walk-in closet and a pantry. It has central heat and air plus an auxiliary wood heater system. The water is supplied by a well and it has a septic system.
The fish hatchery building is 2000 square feet. It has several fish tanks, a complex water system, an air system, a feed mill and other hatchery equipment.
The barn is a free span 30' x 96' metal structure.
There are 3 deep well systems on the property with excellent water quality.
Each of the 40 ponds has a drain and are sloped to drain thoroughly. The water supply system to the ponds comes from deep wells, the creek and runoff. There is also an underground air supply system to all of the ponds.
