The operation utilizes numerous leased pastures in the Prescott area for the base mother cow herd with the irrigated headquarters functioning as the primary growing facility. Post-weaning, 100% Grass Fed Criolo Beef steer calves are retained until 24-30 months of age utilizing irrigated fields to produce Triticale and orchard grass hay as primary feed sources. A second beef product known as Grass/Mash Criolo is offered from steers additionally supplemented with brewers mash from a local Micro Brewery.
The operation is a Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Certified Producer and the resulting beef animals meet USDA standards for Grass Fed, No Added Hormones, No Antibiotics, No Animal By-Products, All Natural and Age & Source as independently verified by TenhniTrak, LLC.
