The Dahomey Plantation is an excellent grain farm, well-located in the fertile Mississippi Delta. Approximately 4,970 acres of the Dahomey Plantation are precision leveled to take advantage of the plentiful irrigation water provided by shallow aquifers. There are 66 irrigation wells on the property allowing nearly 80% if the farmland to be irrigated. Other improvements include a 380,000 bushel grain storage facility, a shop and farm office, 20 tenant houses, an airplane hangar and various sheds and barns. The Plantation is located near grain storage facilities, cotton gins, farm implement dealers and other agricultural enterprises. Local farming operations currently lease the property.
