This property holds lots of wildlife, and it is easy to see why. The property consists of large timber blocks that are loaded with mature oaks, multiple water sources, and large tillable fields in the middle. While photographing this property on a hot August afternoon, to my surprise, there were several deer feeding in the bean field. Of course, I spooked them off as I made my way further back into the property. But each time I emerged from the timber to the bean field, there would be another group of deer that I would bump. As the evening progressed, more and more deer emerged from the timber edges into the bean fields. The property lays in such a way that you are very well hidden by the subtle topography and winding timber edges. I observed more does and fawns than I could count and several nice bucks. Once, I was able to catch on camera from a distance, and two others nearly ran over my UTV. With nearly 4 miles of timber edges on these fields, there are endless stand locations that would allow you to hunt nearly any wind direction. There are numerous corner food plots, pocket fields, and a long narrow strip of beans between the timber that would excite any bowhunter. This long narrow strip is surrounded by timber on three sides. It is about 200 yards long, runs east and west. It is approximately 35 yards wide on the west end and 25 yards wide on the east end. Located in the middle is a very large mineral lick that was very active, full of tracks, and probably 15’ in diameter. There is a small pond or watering hole located just north of it in the timber. I can only imagine what it would be like to overlook this in late October. There is plenty of turkey sign as well, and hard not to be, with the large acorn crop this farm must produce. If you like hunting in deep timber, this property has plenty of it, with approximately 85 acres of timber under your control. Take a look at the aerial. You will see there are several very large blocks of timber in this area, along with scattered agriculture farms and pasture ground, making an excellent wildlife habitat. The tillable ground on this property not only provides tons of food for the wildlife but also provides a great income source. It is currently cash rented at $12,675 annually. There is a very nice building site located at the front of the property with electricity and several metal buildings to store equipment. If you would like to take a look at this amazing hunting property. Give me a call.
