Wildlife & Hunting: Being surrounded by literally tens of thousands of acres of farmland typically planted in grain sorghum helps provide the Arrowhead ranch with fantastic quail, dove and turkey hunts. There are several cleared areas around ponds and windmills specifically for making just that. The Whitetail deer herd was enhanced by DMP pens, a Deer Management Program whereby native does are bred to scientifically bred bucks then released onto the ranch. This was in place for 8 years. There are plenty of trophy Whitetails on the ranch and the owners have maintained strict deer herd management practices. In addition, some of the highest scoring Scimitar Oryx, Axis deer and Blackbuck antelope can be found here.
