Bankhead Farms

The 206 acre Bankhead Farm is a perfect mix of intensively managed pine stands and natural, mast producing hardwood stands that make exceptional wildlife habitat. The pine stands are approaching an age where a thinning will be necessary in the near future, which will be a good source of income from the tract. There are 100 acres of 9 year old planted Loblolly Pine and 69 acres of 8 year old Loblolly pine. 31 acres are mature hardwood areas. The tract is intersected by a high transmission powerline which serve as a great source to plant food plots or use for long range target shooting. Several deer in the 150+ class have been harvested in the area.

The close proximity to I-77 makes it a quick, convenient drive to get out of the city and enjoy the recreational opportunities this tract has to offer. Only 30 minutes from South Charlotte and 45 minutes from Columbia.
