Bowhunters Paradise on the Mississippi River

For decades, Henderson Island, formerly known as Willow Point South, has been a popular destination for bow hunters and is well known for its abundant wildlife and history. Today, Henderson Island is still bow-hunting only, except for a small section of the property set aside for members' kids rifle hunting. Henderson Island is 6,632 acres +/- located in East Carroll Parish, Louisiana, and is accessed by private ferry at Laney Camp Road on Lake Chotard. It is surrounded by water with over 7 miles of Lake Chotard frontage and a little over 3 miles of Mississippi River frontage.

In addition to some of the best whitetail deer hunting along the Mississippi River, Henderson boasts some great duck and turkey hunting.
