Bring your horses or your toys. There is much to do, all with in a short distance. Love to ride, hike, or fish? The Rio Chama Game Management area is less than a mile away and directly across NM 112 from the subdivision with over 13,000 acres to explore. Fly fish in the Rio Chama, or head up to Lake Heron for some light trolling (no wake)to fish for trout or salmon. El Vado lake is a quick 10 minute drive and offers more fast paced water recreation. Winter recreation includes cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the Tusas Mountains. Santa Fe, Taos, and Wolf Creek Ski runs are with in a 2 hour drive for the down hill enthusiast. National Forest is less than 30 minutes in almost any direction.

Take some time to enjoy the sites and cultures of New Mexico. The quaint village of Chama located 30 minutes north offers shopping and a trip on the Cumbres Toltec Railroad. 2 hours south and you are in the heart of Santa Fe, 2 hours west to Chaco Canyon National Monument, an hour and a half north to Pagosa Springs Colorado. This is great central location to start your outdoor adventures.
