CHICKASAW POINT REFUGE
The total package-fishing, trail riding, hunting, camping, it would be hard to find a better one than this. Located on the south slope of the Sans Bois Mountains on Chickasaw Point, the view of the mountains south and the Sans Bois Valley north is awesome. The property has a total of 23 ponds, most stocked with bass, catfish and bluegill. A series of trails criss-cross the property, making an idea trail system for atvs or equine. The area is noted for the trophy whitetail and Eastern Wild Turkey. The previous owner spared no cost in making this the premier recreation property that it still is today. Having a property that you can hunt on in this area is typical. One that you can trail ride on is a little more challenging. One that has this many ponds for fishing is unheard of. Combined, what can I say?
