The town was named for the twin mountains located just north of the community, which were in turn named for Santa Anna, a Comanche chief. SAHA has a direct view of these gorgeous mountains giving way to the glorious sunrises and sunsets. John R. Stearns started Santa Anna Hunting Area in 1986.
