The soils on the property consist predominantly of Amy silt loam, Sawyer very fine sandy loam, and Sacul fine sandy loam soils all of which are suited for pine production. The Sacul-Sawyer complex makes up approximately 71% of the acres and is classified as being moderately well drained with the remaining 19% of the acres being predominantly Amy silt loam soil which is classified as being poorly drained. The equipment operability rating on these soils are rated as being either well suited or moderately suited for equipment operation.
