Mountain Lions- can currently be hunted 365 days a year in Utah. Tags are OTC.

Wildlife on the property are both migratory and resident.

Fishing

No fishing is on the property, but the area has some great mountain lakes that provide lots of fun. Lloyds Lake, Monticello Lake, and Blanding Reservoir are just a few of the local fishing holes.

Lake Powell is not far away and is one of the country’s premier places for amazing beauty and recreation. From houseboating to wakeboarding, waterskiing, and fishing, fun is there to be enjoyed.

Recreation

Canyon Country is throughout Utah with its many National Parks and state recreation areas.

Some of the local attractions are Monument Valley, Bears Ear National Monument, Canyonlands National Park, Dark Sky Parks, and many more sites for recreationists and interested travelers. Winter skiing is a few hours drive away in Utah’s snow country, or across the border in Colorado.

LOCATION

Monticello, Utah is the county seat of San Juan County, Utah and is in the Southeastern part of the state. Monticello offers all amenities needed and is a very friendly community. Situated at the base of the Abajo Mountains and resting at a 7070’ elevation.

Blanding, Utah and the Four Corners Area is roughly 20 miles to the South. Moab, Utah is to the North about 45 miles. Cortez, Co. is approximately 45 minutes East.
