The six ponds and the Stancel Creek provide an excellent haven and source of water for the deer, turkeys, and dove that frequent the area.
The Stancel Creek serves as the northern boundary to the J3 and provides a travel corridor for deer, turkey, and hogs. Additionally, you must access the property across the creek, which could cover the private lane in times of flooding. There is no floodplain on the property other than along the creek.

From Jourdanton, take Hwy 97 West for 7.1 miles. Turn left on S County Rd 319 for 1.4 miles until it dead ends. Turn left onto Bluntzer Rd. for 350 ft. Yellow gate entrance is on the right. To access the J3 Ranch, you will enter the northern boundary of the property off Bluntzer Rd., and drive down the private lane. Cross the northern boundary located on the Stancel Creek. You will then proceed through the front gate, pass a couple of puffed up turkey gobblers and onto your new ranch.
