Grants managers follow intensive QDMA standards to produce an excellent whitetail deer population. In 1974, a 215 non-typical in the area was the largest deer killed in North America. Research conducted by UGA biologists is often shared with the neighboring landowners to benefit the region as a whole, and cooperative management strategies have made this area an incredible wildlife mecca.
