Hilo town is A very cool blast from the past that is quickly renovating and growing. Hilo town is a great investment area on the big island as it has all the comforts of a big city including home.depot, Target, Starbucks, a nice shopping. Mall, Great restaurants. For truly good food. One of my favorites, hilo bay cafe for a great lunch or dinner. cold press juices by loved by the sun, moon and turtle Im going to try soon. People like Jackie rays. Cafe pesto. We have a good healthy food store island naturals and the farmers market. Of coarse we have a safe way though the fresh produce I think is better at Kta . The quality of food I think is better on the island than the mainland. We can also buy raw milk and local beef that is all pasture raised and grass fed. As a matter of fact I can sell you some beef as I have my own cows. The vows are very healthy and hormone free. Did I mention the weather is warm 12 months out of the year.
